Jillian Granz, a 21-year-old Michigan State University student majoring in apparel and textile design, won a contest to design an eco-friendly dress for Suzy Amis Cameron to wear to the Academy Awards. Granz flew to California to be on hand for the unveiling of her design, which Amis Cameron selected from hundreds of entries as the winner of a national charity fundraising contest.
